Direct printing With the Canon Pixma iP6000D Machine
There is a wide range of direct printing features in Canon's Pixma iP6000D. It has a USB port which supports PictBridge, memory card slots and a colour LCD screen where images can be viewed and selected. The Canon iP6000D ink is delivered from six separate cartridges and these include light cyan and light magenta. The extra inks mean that there is no visible grain on photographs. Default settings, as on many other printers, result in highly saturated colours but these can be changed and the Canon iP6000D ink cartridges produce very accurate shades. The printer is slower than some other models and achieves just 2.1 pages per minute for text documents. The colour accuracy is adequate and reflects the cost of the printer.
