The iP6700 printer from Canon has been specially designed for producing photographic prints although it can still be used for normal text documents. Unlike the subsequent iP6700D this model cannot be used to directly print from a camera but needs to be connected to a PC and photos have to be downloaded. However, it is still a good buy and delivers finely detailed prints with excellent colours.
