This resetter will reset genuine Epson cartridges with the part numbers below. These cartridges are also known as Dais, Pen and Polar Bear cartridges due to the pictures on their boxes. It will also reset our compatible equivalents but please make sure that you fully read the important notes before you purchase.

This resetter is designed to reset  Epson 16, 16XL (also known as Pen, Pen XL)  and Epson 18 and 18XL cartridges ( also known as Daisy, Daisy XL). It will reset both genuine Epson and our compatibles but we cannot guarantee that it will reset other brands of compatible cartridge. Please see the compatibility list to make sure that your cartridge part numbers are supported.

When resetting chips on genuine Epson 16, 16XL, 18, 18XL cartridges you will need to reset your cartridge before your printer or printer driver status monitor shows an "X" inside the the ink level icon. Any cartridge that already indicates "X" cannot not reset. The resetter light may turn green but it will still indicate "X" or unrecognised when reisnstalled. 
Our compatible cartridges can be reset when empty or at any point in between. Just make sure that the cartridges are refilled and ink can be seen in the little window at the base of the cartridge before you reinstall them.

Genuine and compatible chips can usually be reset numerous times but as they are manufactured with the intention of being used only once, we cannot guarantee any cartridges or chips beyond their intended single use life span.
