Kodak ESP 7200 Inkjet All-In-One Review
All the Kodak printers use the same print engine and this model is very smart with a black gloss finish and frosted top. The control panel swings out but it does not have a touchscreen and is operated with buttons. The colour display is 76mm wide and is a bright OLED screen. There are two paper trays which hold 100 plain and 40 photographic sheets. You install the Kodak ESP 7200 ink cartridges by plugging them into the print head. The colour cartridge is purely for photographs and has an extra dye based black as well as a transparent sealer. This produces excellent glossy prints that are close to lab quality. The black Kodak ESP 7200 ink cartridges are designed to be used for text documents only.

Print speeds are high which is a bonus as there have been some problems with print quality which sometimes misses off headers. However, the black text is sharp and clean and solid colours remain the norm. Kodak ESP 7200 compatible inks can be fitted and these give excellent definition for photographs. Colour prints have well defined foreground detail and good skin tones. Costs per page are extremely low and this is due to the Kodak ESP 7200 printer ink cartridges which hold high quantities of ink. As a home office machine this one is pretty well perfect if you ignore the slightly noisy element that is due to the scanner mechanism.
