Kodak Hero 7.1 Printer Review
There are four machines in the Hero range and this one falls into the middle of the prices. It has a separate powered paper tray and touchscreen controls that are very easy to use. You can achieve remote printing via Google Cloud print and it has wireless connectivity. The print engine uses Kodak Hero 7.1 ink and is the same one that is fitted into the earlier machines. The Kodak Hero 7.1 ink cartridges come in black and a tri-colour which has the cyan, magenta and yellow colours.
Kodak Hero 7.1 Printer Cartridges For Inexpensive Prints
The quality of prints is generally good with clean text and vivid colour graphics. Photos come out well with reasonable levels of detail and natural colours. Using Kodak Hero 7.1 compatible inks you can get excellent results and the machine is very quiet when operating. Prices per page work out at 2.0 pence for mono and 4.2 pence for colour making Kodak Hero 7.1 printer ink cartridges very good value. The verdict on this printer is that it has mixed results. The touchscreen is good and having a separate powered tray for photo paper is handy. However, the duplex prints can only be obtained at reduced sizes and this may be off putting for some users.
