Lexmark Interpret S405 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer
Lexmark has added a new ink system to this printer but has omitted to incorporate touchscreen controls. There is an ADF and the control panel is well laid out. This includes a number pad for the fax. The model has one slot for a memory card and a USB socket that will support Pictbridge. As well as built in Wi-Fi there is also an Ethernet port and a second USB. The Lexmark S405 ink is delivered by a new system called Vizix. It seems that the company has bowed to popular opinion and now has individual colour Lexmark S405 ink cartridges.

The inks are available in both standard units and high capacity. Ink costs for Lexmark printers are generally quite high and this one is no exception. The print costs come out at 1.70 pence for a black and white sheet and 11.83 pence for a colour one. These figures are much higher than most other manufacturers. So, although the machine itself is not expensive, printing costs could be too high for many people's appetites.
