The Brother DCP-585CW All-In-One Inkjet
Although marketed as a high end model, the DCP-585CW is still priced under £100. It is double the width of many other models and has a full colour display screen. There are two paper trays built into one slide out cassette. You can connect through an Ethernet or by wireless. There are four DCP-585CW ink cartridges which are simple to install and the model primes the inks to be ready to use. Print heads are re-aligned as well. The DCP-585CW ink cartridges that we supply all contain premium inks from the USA and can be bought in a variety of packs.

Printing figures from the manufacturer bear little resemblance to the actual figures. Brother claims speeds of 33ppm and 27ppm but actual results are nearer to 2ppm for both colour and mono. Photo prints, as with all Brother models, are generally better than average and with DCP-585CW compatible inks the quality is equally as good. Using compatible replacement inks makes printing cheaper. With DCP-585CW printer ink cartridges the model is very easy to use and the results, if a little slow, are plenty good enough for home printing projects.
