If you are looking for a low cost printer that will also fax, the MFC-295CN is a good choice. The print quality is good and there is a built in Ethernet port. Print speeds are a tad slow and the LCD screen is in text. In addition, there is no wireless connectivity but, at under £70, it is still a bargain. The printer uses MFC-295CN ink in individual colours and these are housed in four separate chambers. The MFC-295CN ink cartridges are easy to install. If you want to print photographs, this model is not ideal as the screen has no back light and only displays low resolution images. However, all other controls are easy to access.
