The scanner that is incorporated into the Epson Stylus DX5050 is very impressive and produces excellent sharp images although it is a little slow. Printing is produced at 12.5 pages per minute for drafts and an even slower 2.9 pages per minute for normal quality so this is not a speedy machine. Using DX5050 ink cartridges with four inks does make it less expensive to run than other rival machines, but if you want speed this is not for you. DX5050 ink cartridges for the model produce good and accurate colours with realistic skin tones in all photographs.
