The Epson XP-520 is modern in its design, the Epson XP-520 comes in black with a sleek look. The Epson XP-520 weighs in at 6.3kg, with a width of 39cm, a depth of 24.1cm and a height of 13.8cm. Its standard interfaces are a single USB port, memory card slot and WiFi connectivity. These interfaces are rather lacking compared to other printers that offer other interfaces such as PictBridge support. The Epson XP-520 printer has maximum resolution of up to 5760 x 1440dpi and supports borderless printing, making this printer up to the task of printing high quality photos. 10x15cm photos are delivered in 20seconds, with monochrome or coloured documents printed at speeds of up to 32ppm. A rather prominent disadvantage of the Epson XP-520 is its small LCD display, this can make it difficult for users to read text on the display, the onboard touch panel also lacks a back function which can make navigating the Epson XP-520 user interface problematic. Overall the Epson XP-520 offers high quality prints at fast speeds, but its user interface is rather poorly designed resulting in difficult operation.
